Chad Howard

Sous Chef

 

Chad Howard is a Sous Chef in Superior Dining for UMD Dining Services, starting February 2023. Before joining UMD Dining Services, Chad worked at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minn., and Beaver Run Resorts in Breckenridge, Colorado. 

Chad has completed courses toward an Associate degree in Geographical Information Science at North Central Michigan College, and also attended Culinary School at Dakota County Technical College, receiving certifications in Quantity Food Prep, Culinary Food Service Supervisor, and Food Service Management. Chad was the recipient of the Wisconsin Association Scholarship.

When not at work, Chad enjoys any activities that involve the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and cooking and grilling. Chad says likes working for UMD Dining Services because of the team atmosphere and the people around him.
