Savannah Villa

Manager - Fresh Leaf Catering

 

Savannah Villa is a Food Operations Manager at Fresh Leaf Catering for UMD Dining Services, beginning in August 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History with a minor in Studio Art. 

Before starting her career at UMD, Savannah worked at Alakef Coffee Roasters in Production; Va Bene Cafe, as a server and bartender; and at Sara’s Table Chester Creek Cafe as a pastry chef – specializing in vegan and gluten-free pastries and breads.

In December 2022, Savannah received the Student Life Champ Award. She enjoys spending time with friends and family in her spare time, kayaking, sailing, swimming, cooking, and gardening.

Savannah appreciates working for UMD Dining Services because it allows her to experience all aspects of dining in a different light than the private or corporate sector. She enjoys working with students, faculty, and staff from various backgrounds, cultures, and experiences and loves the campus’ wide variety of cultural events.
