James Bridges is the Warehouse Manager for UMD Dining Services. He began his career at UMD in February 2017. Prior to that, he worked for 25 years with Hermantown Menard’s.
James has been recognized for his hard work and dedication to customer service, receiving numerous awards throughout his career, including Values and Performance from 2002-2005, Team Member of the Month in 2007, Customer Service Recognition awards from 1994-2005, and the Champ Award from UMD in the fall of 2019.
When he is not working, James enjoys fishing, spending time outdoors, and spending time with family. He finds his job with UMD Dining Services to be incredibly fulfilling and rewarding, as it provides him with new challenges and situations to work on each day, allowing him to stay focused, interested, and grow professionally. He also appreciates the respect and trust he receives from his co-workers and looks forward to many more years with UMD.
