Sue Olson is the lead manager for Fresh Leaf Catering at UMD and also is the Dining Training & Resources Specialist. She has been a part of the UMD Dining Services team since 2005. Prior to joining the team, she gained experience in the food service industry by working a variety of jobs. Sue also has a background in floral design and was even a school bus driver. She was awarded the Champ Award for her professional achievements at UMD.
When she is not working, Sue enjoys spending time with her family, fishing and boating, camping, and having campfires.
Sue loves working for UMD Dining Services, as it allows her to plan successful events and work with the management team, teamsters, and student employees. She has also been able to be a part of the rebranding of Fresh Leaf Catering for the University and enjoys the variety of duties that come along with being the Lead Catering Manager.
